Badminton Coaching

Badminton is a complex and fun sport for getting your whole body and mind to work hard. It is an excellent game for people of all ages which involves rigorous physical activity that helps you stay fit and healthy. Badminton is a total body workout – as you serve and run around the court, you engage your core, limbs and brain. It boosts up strength to your muscles, increases blood flow rate, improves reflexes and motor coordination and stimulates aerobic stamina and speed.

Badminton Coaching is offered as ...

Time: 60 min badminton training adjusted to the players' level

Method: individual or group training

Content: warm-up, main session, cool-down, feedback

Schedule: flexible upon agreement

Options: different packages available

The Process ...

→ First free session (30 min) that serves to assess the level and skills of the player(s), followed by a consultation to explain key concepts, to identify the players’ goals and expectations and to establish the coaching relationship

 

… upon agreed cooperation between the player(s) and the coach, and the package selection, the following steps are taking into action …

 

Building collaborative relationship between the coach and the player(s)

Planning and detailed goal-setting according to the players’ abilities and expectations

Delivering professional on court training in high quality conditions based on education and experience

Offering a variety of on/off court exercises combined with sparring matches and fun

Developing technical skills of specific badminton strokes all around the court

Enhancing physical shape related to footwork, endurance, speed, agility, power, coordination, flexibility and mobility

Improving tactical aspect supported by game-exercises, critical thinking and video analysis
